Jersey Giant asparagus is our #1 seller!  A hybrid male-dominant variety, Jersey Giant plants expend less energy on seeds, and result in a greater harvest than other open-pollinated varieties.  Large spears, vigorous production that is hard to beat.  Jersey Giant set the new industry production records that all other varieties to come will be compared against.  It is a mid-season variety, and harvest begins a week or so after Jersey Supreme

Our asparagus plants are shipped bare-root from a licensed and inspected nursery. Stock Quality is 100% guaranteed!  Perennial plants.  Self-pollinating.  1-year plants.

If you have a nice loamy soil and good growing conditions, Jersey Giant will outperform the rest.  If you have drier, hotter conditions, or more clay soil, Jersey Knight may produce better for you.  A well-tended bed will last several decades.
